2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

• Contact and scheduling information: name, service address, phone number, email address, and property details (e.g., home/yard size, pest concerns, access instructions, gate codes if provided).

• Payment information: billing address and payment details, processed through our payment processor (see Section 4). We do not store full credit card numbers on our own systems.

• Communications: messages you send us via our website contact form, email, phone calls, or text message, including any recordings or transcripts of service calls.

• Job applicant / employee information: if you apply for a job or become a technician, we collect information such as your name, contact details, driver's license, and other information needed for hiring, payroll, and vehicle/equipment use. This information is used only for employment purposes and is not shared for marketing.

Information collected automatically

• Website usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

• Service records: treatment history, products applied, technician notes, and — where applicable — before/after photos or video taken during a service visit for quality assurance, warranty documentation, or (with your separate consent) marketing/testimonial purposes.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from our business management platforms (such as our CRM), payment processors, and marketing/advertising partners as described below.
 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Schedule, perform, and follow up on pest control services;

• Process payments and maintain billing records;

• Communicate with you about appointments, service reminders, and account matters;

• Respond to inquiries, quote requests, and customer service issues;

• Improve our website, services, and marketing;

• Comply with pesticide application recordkeeping and other legal or regulatory obligations (e.g., Illinois Department of Public Health / Department of Agriculture requirements); and

• With your consent, feature testimonials, photos, or videos in our marketing (see Section 7).

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers: our CRM/scheduling platform (Briostack), payment processor, payroll provider (Gusto, for employee data only), and website/hosting providers. These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services on our behalf.

• Advertising and analytics partners: Google Analytics and Google Ads (see Section 5).

• Legal and safety reasons: if required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Fleasty Boys, our customers, or others.

• Business transfers: if BioPest LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

• International contractors: we work with business partners located in Guatemala for certain administrative/support functions. Where this involves personal data, we take reasonable steps to require that these partners protect your information consistently with this policy.

We do not share text message opt-in data or mobile phone numbers collected for SMS communications with third parties for their marketing purposes.
 

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Online Advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use our site and to advertise our services online.

• Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our website (pages viewed, time on site, general location, device/browser type). Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to do this.

You can also control cookies generally through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect how parts of our site function.

• Do Not Track: Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

We use remarketing to advertise Fleasty Boys online. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar identifiers to show our ads to people who have previously visited fleastyboys.com. Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the internet based on this past visit data. 6. Text Messages (SMS) and Calls

If you provide your phone number, we may contact you by phone or text message regarding appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates. By providing your number, you consent to receive these communications, which may be sent using automated technology. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

• You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

• Reply HELP for assistance.

• Mobile opt-in information and phone numbers collected for texting purposes are not shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
   

7. Photos, Video, and Testimonials

From time to time, we may photograph or record video during a service visit for quality assurance, training, or warranty documentation. If we would like to use any photo, video, or testimonial featuring you or your property in our marketing (online, social media, or advertising), we will ask for your separate, explicit consent before doing so.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain required pesticide application and business records under applicable Illinois regulations, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal obligations. Financial and payroll records are retained according to applicable federal and Illinois recordkeeping requirements.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including encrypted storage and restricted access to customer records within our CRM and payroll systems. Employees who access customer information as part of scheduling or service delivery are expected to keep that information confidential. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you;

• Request correction of inaccurate information;

• Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal and recordkeeping obligations;

• Opt out of marketing communications at any time; and

• Opt out of the sale or “sharing” of personal information — though as noted above, we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 1. We will respond within a reasonable time.

 

11. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (such as Google, our payment processor, or review platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
